DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN TOKYO
Arrival at Narita or Haneda International Airport and private transfer to the hotel with a dedicated driver. The rest of the day is free for relaxation or first individual discoveries of the Japanese capital.

DAY 2: TOKYO – TRADITION AND MODERNITY
Full guided day exploring Tokyo using public transportation. The tour begins in the cultural district of Ueno, with its large park and the city’s most important museums. Continue to Akihabara, the paradise of electronics, anime, and Japanese pop culture. In the afternoon, visit Asakusa with the famous Senso-ji Temple and the traditional shops along Nakamise-dori. End the day in Ginza, Tokyo’s elegant shopping and entertainment district.

DAY 3: CONTEMPORARY TOKYO
Free day with suggested visits using public transportation. Walk through the colorful streets of Harajuku and Takeshita Street, the heart of Japanese youth fashion. Visit the Meiji-Jingu Shrine surrounded by Tokyo’s urban forest and continue to Shibuya, symbol of modern Tokyo with its famous crossing and lively districts. During the day, entrance to the immersive TeamLab Planets museum featuring digital installations and interactive scenery.

Optional opportunity to participate in a morning sumo experience with a visit to a real training stable.

DAY 4: HAKONE AND MOUNT FUJI
Departure for Hakone with private guide and driver. Visit the Hakone Open Air Museum, an extraordinary open-air museum immersed in nature. Ride the Hakone Ropeway with spectacular views over the volcanic mountains and, on clear days, Mount Fuji. Stop in the geothermal area of Owakudani among sulfur steam vents and lunar landscapes. In the afternoon, cruise on Lake Ashi aboard the characteristic Pirate Cruise and visit the evocative Hakone-jinja Shrine overlooking the lake. Traditional kaiseki dinner and overnight stay in a ryokan with onsen.

DAY 5: HAKONE BETWEEN HISTORY AND NATURE
Free day to continue exploring Hakone. Visit the ancient Hakone Sekisho checkpoint, a testimony to the Edo period and the routes once traveled by samurai. Panoramic cruise on Lake Ashi and ascent by the Komagatake Ropeway to admire spectacular views of Mount Fuji and the surrounding mountains.

DAY 6: FROM HAKONE TO KYOTO
Transfer by Romancecar train and then by the famous Shinkansen to Kyoto. In the afternoon, enjoy a traditional tea ceremony experience while wearing a kimono. Free evening walk through the timeless atmosphere of Gion and Higashiyama, the city’s most charming historic districts.

DAY 7: KYOTO BETWEEN ZEN AND BAMBOO
Full guided day discovering Kyoto. Visit the famous Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion reflected in its pond, and the Zen temple Ryoan-ji with its renowned rock garden. Continue to the evocative temples of Otagi Nenbutsu-ji and Adashino Nenbutsu-ji surrounded by nature. Walk through the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and climb to Monkey Park Iwatayama to observe Japanese macaques and enjoy stunning views over the city.

Optional excursion to the tea plantations of Wazuka with tasting experience.

DAY 8: HIMEJI AND THE SAMURAI CASTLE
Departure by Shinkansen to Himeji. Guided visit of the magnificent Himeji Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and symbol of Japan’s feudal era, famous for its elegant white structure nicknamed the “White Heron.” Walk through the refined Koko-en Gardens. In the afternoon, transfer to Kurashiki.

DAY 9: KURASHIKI AND OLD JAPAN
Guided day discovering Kurashiki’s historic Bikan district, characterized by canals, willow trees, and ancient white warehouses transformed into boutiques, cafés, and art galleries. Opportunity to visit the famous Ohara Museum of Art and the charming Kurashiki Ivy Square complex.

DAY 10: HIROSHIMA AND THE MESSAGE OF PEACE
Transfer to Hiroshima and guided visit of the city. Walk through the Peace Memorial Park with views of the Atomic Bomb Dome and entrance to the Peace Memorial Museum, a symbolic place of remembrance and world peace.

Optional opportunity to participate in a traditional Japanese calligraphy workshop and handcrafted brush-making experience.

DAY 11: MIYAJIMA, THE SACRED ISLAND
Independent excursion to Miyajima by train and ferry. Visit the famous Itsukushima Shrine with its iconic red torii gate suspended over the water, one of Japan’s most recognizable symbols. Continue to Daisho-in Temple and ascend Mount Misen by ropeway to admire breathtaking views over the Seto Inland Sea.

DAY 12: OSAKA AND JAPANESE STREET FOOD
Transfer to Osaka and free time to explore the city independently. In the evening, enjoy a guided food experience through izakaya, traditional venues, and street food stalls, discovering the authentic cuisine of Osaka, considered the gastronomic capital of Japan.

DAY 13: DEPARTURE
Private transfer to Kansai International Airport (KIX) and departure for your return flight.
