DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN JAPAN
Arrival at Narita or Haneda International Airport and private transfer to the hotel with dedicated driver. Free time to relax or enjoy first individual discoveries of the city.

DAY 2: TOKYO BETWEEN CULTURE AND TRADITION
Full guided day discovering Tokyo by public transportation. Visit Ueno district with the Tokyo National Museum and the lively Ameyoko Market. Continue to Akihabara, the center of Japanese anime, manga, and electronic culture. In the afternoon visit Asakusa with the famous Senso-ji Temple and Nakamise-dori shopping street. End the day in Ginza, Tokyo’s elegant luxury shopping district.

DAY 3: CONTEMPORARY TOKYO
Free day to explore Tokyo independently using public transportation. Walk through Harajuku and Takeshita Street, the heart of Japanese youth fashion, and visit Meiji-Jingu Shrine surrounded by a peaceful urban forest. Continue to Shibuya, symbol of modern Tokyo, famous for its iconic crossing and vibrant atmosphere. Included entrance to the immersive TeamLab Planets museum. In the evening, possibility to explore Shinjuku and Golden Gai.

DAY 4: FROM TOKYO TO OSAKA
Transfer by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka. Hotel accommodation and free time to start exploring the city. In the evening, guided food tour through izakayas, traditional restaurants, and street food spots to discover Osaka’s famous local cuisine.

DAY 5: OSAKA AND ITS ENERGY
Free day to explore Osaka using public transportation. Visit Osaka Castle and the lively Kuromon Market, famous for local specialties. Visit the Umeda Sky Building for panoramic city views. In the evening stroll through the bright lights and lively atmosphere of Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi.

Optional traditional knife forging experience in Sakai.

DAY 6: ARRIVAL IN KYOTO
Transfer by local train from Osaka to Kyoto. Free time to explore the city independently.

Optional traditional tea ceremony experience while wearing a kimono.

DAY 7: KYOTO BETWEEN TEMPLES AND TRADITIONS
Full guided day discovering Kyoto. Visit Nijo Castle, former residence of the Tokugawa shoguns, and Heian Shrine. Continue to the famous Kiyomizu-dera Temple and walk through the historic Higashiyama district. In the afternoon visit Fushimi Inari Taisha with its iconic red torii gates. End the day in Gion, Kyoto’s famous geisha district.

DAY 8: KYOTO BETWEEN ZEN AND NATURE
Free day to continue discovering Kyoto. Visit Kinkaku-ji, the famous Golden Pavilion, and walk through the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. Optional visit to Monkey Park Iwatayama for panoramic views and Japanese macaques. Continue to the peaceful Kokedera Temple and the elegant Katsura Imperial Villa.

Optional excursion to the tea plantations of Wazuka with tea tasting experience.

DAY 9: GUJO HACHIMAN AND GERO ONSEN
Departure with private driver to Gujo Hachiman, a charming mountain town crossed by canals and rivers. Visit the panoramic castle and stroll through its traditional streets. Participate in a Japanese food replica workshop at Iwasaki Mokei. In the afternoon continue to Gero Onsen for a traditional ryokan stay with Japanese dinner and onsen experience.

DAY 10: ALONG THE HISTORIC NAKASENDŌ
Transfer to Magome and self-guided walk along one of the most scenic sections of the historic Nakasendō Trail, the ancient samurai route connecting Kyoto and Edo. Walk through forests, traditional villages, and mountain landscapes until reaching beautifully preserved Tsumago-juku. Continue to Matsumoto with private driver.

DAY 11: MATSUMOTO AND THE JAPANESE ALPS
Guided day discovering Matsumoto. Visit the famous Matsumoto Castle, also known as the “Black Crow Castle,” one of Japan’s best-preserved original castles. Walk through Nakamachi Street and Nawate Street among historic shops and traditional cafés. Visit the Matsumoto City Museum of Art featuring works by Yayoi Kusama. If time permits, excursion to Daio Wasabi Farm.

DAY 12: RETURN TO TOKYO
Transfer by limited express train from Matsumoto to Tokyo. Free time for shopping, independent visits, or relaxation.

DAY 13: DEPARTURE
Private transfer to Narita or Haneda International Airport and departure flight.
