Asante Sana: Safari in Tanzania through Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Tarangire

The Asante Sana Safari is designed to give you an immersive, complete experience in just 5 days. You will visit three of the most spectacular parks on Tanzania’s northern circuit, accompanied by expert local Magilani Safaris guides who speak Italian. It is the ideal safari for those seeking real emotions, comfort and nature in its purest form, even with limited time.

Itinerary

• Day 1: arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to Karatu, with dinner and overnight stay.
• Day 2: the majestic Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for lions, buffalo, zebras, black rhinos and hippos. A vast volcanic caldera that holds a rich, protected ecosystem where wildlife and Maasai traditions coexist.
• Days 3 and 4: Serengeti National Park and the great migration. Resting lions, marching elephants, hunting cheetahs and giraffes.
• Day 5: the elephants and baobabs of Tarangire National Park, then return to Arusha.

When to go: the safari is ideal all year round. The dry season, from June to October, offers clear skies, easy sightings and passable roads, perfect for experiencing the savanna in all its grandeur. The green season, from November to May, is less crowded and more scenic: the landscapes take on intense colors and the light is ideal for wildlife photography.
