Dubai between Modernity and Tradition

A 4-day, 3-night stay in Dubai, ideal as a stopover or a short getaway. The program packs the city’s most representative experiences into a few days: an evening on a dhow among the skyscrapers of the Marina, a day through old Dubai and its markets, and the magic of the desert with dinner under the stars.

Itinerary

Day 1, Arrival and dhow cruise with dinner: on arrival at the airport, meet our representative for the transfer to your hotel in Dubai, with assistance at check-in. In the evening, at 7:00 pm, private transfer to Dubai Marina for a cruise of about 2 hours on an illuminated traditional dhow, past Marina, Bluewaters Island, JBR and Ain Dubai. Welcome with Arabic coffee and dates, international and Arabic buffet dinner with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and a live Tanoura dance show. Return to the hotel.

Day 2, Dubai: city tour with Gold Souk and Spice Souk: departure at 9:30 am for old Dubai, with Al Shindagha Heritage Village, the Shindagha Museum dedicated to the history of pearl diving and trade, and the Perfume House, to discover the art of Arabic perfumery. Crossing of the Creek by abra, the traditional wooden boat, to Deira. Visit the Gold Souk, home to the largest gold ring in the world according to the Guinness World Records, and the Spice Souk, among saffron, cardamom, cinnamon and Arabic coffee. The tour continues with a photo stop at Jumeirah Mosque and at the Burj Al Arab from Jumeirah Beach, a drive around Palm Jumeirah with a stop at Atlantis, The Palm, and a walk along Dubai Marina and Bluewaters Island. Return to the hotel around 2:00 pm and free afternoon.

Day 3, Desert Safari with BBQ dinner: between 2:30 and 3:30 pm, pick-up from the hotel in a 4×4 towards the Lahbab Desert (red dunes) or Al Marmoom Desert, about 45 minutes from the city, with a short refreshment stop. A 20-30 minute dune bashing ride, a camel ride, optional sandboarding and sunset over the dunes. At the Bedouin-style camp, a welcome with Arabic coffee, dates and soft drinks, then a BBQ buffet dinner with live entertainment: Tanoura dance, fire show, belly dance and Arabic music. Return to the hotel between 9:30 and 10:00 pm.

Day 4, Check-out and transfer to the airport: check-out and private transfer to the airport for departure.
